Responsibilities:

We are searching for a full-time Community Relations Specialist who will be an essential component of UnitedOne's commitment to Financial Well-Being for All. This position maintains responsibility for community outreach, bringing financial education to under-served areas in the communities we serve. Our Community Relations Specialist will also be responsible for leveraging our low-income designation and CDFI status.

Our Community Relations Specialist will foster our “United For You” service promise which requires taking personal responsibility for providing outstanding member service that builds loyalty and supports a service selling environment. Our Community Relations Specialist will also work collaboratively to foster a culture that encourages diversity and independent thinking and a member-centric, digital organization to meet or exceed UnitedOne’s mission, strategic objectives, and promote the overall success of the credit union.

Requirements:

Experience

2-5 years of similar or related experience working in a service position promoting and representing community focused organizations.

Education/Certifications/Licenses

A college degree in marketing, communications, or related field.

Interpersonal Skills

Must have exceptional communication, organizational and interpersonal relationship building skills. Ability to motivate, influence, educate and/or advise others on matters of significance is strongly preferred.

Other Skills

Ability to create power points a plus.
