Responsibilities:
Develop, manage, and optimize content across the organization’s various digital platforms to enhance the visibility and appeal of the Fox Cities as a travel destination.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive digital content strategy that aligns with the overall marketing goals, objectives, and themes
- Create compelling, informative, and SEO-optimized content across multiple formats, including blog articles, website copy, email campaigns, and multimedia assets
- Create visually compelling assets using Canva or other digital design tools
- Develop relationships and utilize local-based content creators to provide authentic and relevant content for the CVB to utilize
- Manage content-related projects from inception to completion, including photo and video shoots
- Execute email marketing campaigns for segmented target markets and interest groups
- In coordination with the marketing team, create and manage an editorial calendar to ensure consistent content delivery and alignment with marketing campaigns and events
- Ensure website content is optimized for search engines and user experience by implementing on-page and off-page SEO strategies, including keyword optimization, link building, and metadata optimization
- Develop and manage online promotions by creating content, securing partner participation and fulfilling prizes if necessary
- Respond to messages, comments, and replies across social media platforms to engage audience and provide destination expertise
- Oversee the digital asset management platform and distribution of all FCCVB-owned content, including photo and video distribution to internal and external stakeholders
- Monitor and analyze content performance metrics to refine strategies and report on key performance indicators
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field
- 2-4 years of experience with digital marketing, social media, and email campaigns preferred
- Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, social media platforms, and other web technologies
- Experience managing Google Analytics, email, and other various platforms preferred
- Position is primarily in-office
