You will play a key role in elevating how our stakeholders—including investors, team members, prospective team members, customers, civic leaders and the media—perceive Oshkosh, building on our current momentum to shape the next chapter of our story.
- Brand Leadership: Define and evolve our corporate brand strategy, architecture, and governance—including technology and ingredient branding.
- Narrative Development: Create compelling, data-driven brand stories that resonate across multiple audiences and showcase our innovation and value.
- Creative Oversight: Guide visual brand expression through photography, video, design and trade show presence. Push creative boundaries while maintaining brand integrity.
- Digital Brand Experience: Lead the evolution of our corporate website and paid digital strategy to ensure best-in-class performance and alignment.
- Measurement & Optimization: Drive brand health research, using metrics like awareness, preference and loyalty to refine strategy and prove ROI.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner across segments, business units, functions and the global branding and communications team to unify our brand story and connect the Oshkosh Corporation to its portfolio of brands.
Requirements:
- A strategic, curious and hands-on leader who thrives on overcoming challenges and leading change.
- Experienced, People First leader with a proven track record of leading and building healthy, high performing, accountable teams.
- Deep expertise in corporate and product branding, especially within complex global organizations.
- Proven success evolving brands from traditional to transformative—market leaders and challengers alike.
- Exceptional storytelling skills across media formats: video, case studies, digital and social.
- Strong track record managing brand performance, governance and agency partnerships.
- Expert in using research and analytics to guide creative decisions and demonstrate value.
- Confident presenter and brand advocate with strong budget and team leadership skills.
- Knowledge and ability to leverage tech forward branding and communications solutions that reduce friction points along both the internal and external customer journey.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 10+ years in brand strategy and corporate brand management.
- Experience with brand architecture, website and content strategy, event strategy, and brand performance tracking.
- Fluency in creative tools and platforms (e.g., Sitecore, Sprout, Acquia, SmartSheet, Adobe Creative Suite).
- A portfolio of branding work that demonstrates creativity, consistency and measurable impact.
