Responsibilities:

- Serve as primary cooperative writer and photographer
- Coordinate publication of member magazine, annual report, and newsletters
- Help develop and execute print and digital marketing campaigns
- Manage cooperative’s web and social media presence
- Primary administrator of website content management system
- Work with team to develop relevant, meaningful content
- Manage social media editorial calendar
- Coordinate and execute social media campaigns
- Monitor and report on social media outreach
- Actively engage, cultivate, and manage media relationships
- Manage relationships with communications vendors, agencies, and contract communications providers
- Assist in preparation of talking points, speeches, presentations, and other supporting material as needed
- Exercise judgement to prioritize communication opportunities
- Any other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Agriculture or related field or a combination of education and relevant work experience.
- 2 years relevant work experience preferred/required.
